Cleaner – 3.75 hours/day – High School
Location:
Independence Local School District.
Position Type:
Maintenance/Custodial.
Classified Position Available for the 2025‑2026 School Year.
Qualifications- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Effective active listening skills.
- Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Flexibility in assignments.
- Training in the proper care and storage of chemicals.
- Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, written warnings, and labels.
- Knowledge of the correct way to repair a variety of materials, e.g., floor tile replacement, repairs to wood, plastic, fiberglass, etc.
