ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Custodian cleans and maintains the general appearance and cleanliness of City buildings and performs a variety of custodial tasks and duties such as emptying trash cans, dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, replacing tissue, paper towels, and liners. The Custodian is also responsible for turning off lights, ensuring doors are locked when leaving the building, and performing all other assigned duties.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: High school diploma or GED;

Ability to learn and utilize new skills in the area of custodial work; or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
