Position: FLOORCARE SPECIALIST- ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES - FT-NIGHTS

Floorcare Specialist

Floor Care Specialist is responsible for cleaning all types of floors and carpet care to ensure that all are clean to help beautify the appearance of the facility. This role should be able to maintain a consistent clean look of all surfaces and repair any issues as they occur during a work schedule.

Typical hours Sunday-Thursday: 10:30 p.m.

- 7:00 a.m.

This position is based within Jefferson Regional Environmental Services Department.

Floorcare Specialist

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment

Effective communication skills

Ability to operate floorcare machinery safely and effectively

Preferred Requirement:

At least 1 year of floorcare experience in a hospital setting preferred

Previous experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role

Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures

Knowledge of floor cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
