Overview
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Catering Chef will be involved in all culinary aspects of the catering operation. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, polished culinary professional with fine dining experience. Our Catering Chef will manage menu planning, ordering, inventory and follow recipe adherence to maintain culinary standards and manage food safety. The ability to flex throughout the day between hands-on cooking and prep.
Our successful leader will implement sustainability practices and work with clients to create customized menus.
Seeking candidates with a proven track record for developing menus, leading with purpose and innovation, and being engaged and focused.
Develop and execute high-quality catering menus that reflect creativity, seasonality, and client preferences.
Lead all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service for catered events.
Maintain strict adherence to recipes, portioning, and culinary standards.
Ensure all dishes meet quality expectations for flavor, appearance, and consistency.
Represent the culinary team with professionalism and hospitality during tastings and event planning sessions.
Strong culinary background with experience in catering, banquets, or fine dining.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Knowledge of current culinary trends and a passion for innovation.
Proficiency with food inventory, ordering, and production systems.
