We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to serve as a Maintenance Repairer
, assisting with the daily operations of the Area Maintenance Department on the Pinecrest Supports and Services grounds. This position will be key in performing plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and refrigeration.
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Job Duties and Other Information- Plumbing:
Repair and install commodes, lavatories, water fountains, and garbage disposals. Unclog sewer lines and drains, repair leaks, and repair/replace faucets. - Electrical:
Repair light bulbs. Repair/replace ballasts, receptacles, switches, and fans. Replace motors, pumps, etc. - Appliance Repair:
Repair washing machines, dryers, ice machines, and refrigerators. - Carpentry:
Repair doors, door closers, hinges, cabinet doors, knobs, baseboards, cabinets, furniture, door stops, windows, etc. - Refrigeration:
Perform preventative maintenance and maintenance to a/c units and air handlers. Clean coils; work on pumps to air handlers and motors, chill water valves, controls, belts, and filters. - Keep check on hot water temperatures and maintain log.
- Run and service generators and maintain a log. Inspect fire extinguishers monthly and maintain a log.
Location: Pinecrest Supports and Services Center - Area Maintenance
Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Pass Days:
Saturday and Sunday
Maintenance Repairer 1: $17.18 hourly - $30.92 hourly
Maintenance Repairer 2: $19.67 hourly - $35.40 hourly
Career ProgressionThis position may be filled as a Maintenance Repairer 1 or 2 depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Appointment TypeThis position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Job Appointment, Lateral Transfer or Detail to Special Duty. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
