Maintenance Assistant

Overview

A Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the community’s physical plant, grounds and equipment in order to ensure a safe environment.

• Assists in maintaining the grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and shoveling dirt and snow.
• Conducts minor repairs and paints.
• Lifts and moves equipment and furniture.
• Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing.
• Cleans and maintains sprinklers, exhaust system and filters.
• Attends required in‑service education.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
