The Regional Maintenance Technician provides technical leadership and operational support across a portfolio of multifamily communities within an assigned region. This role partners closely with Property Managers, Regional Managers, and on-site Maintenance teams to ensure properties are maintained to company standards, preventative maintenance programs are executed consistently, regulatory compliance is achieved, and maintenance operations support long-term asset performance.

This is a highly hands‑on role that combines advanced technical expertise with regional oversight. The Regional Maintenance Technician regularly travels between communities to perform property inspections, coach and support on‑site teams, troubleshoot complex maintenance issues, assist with capital and special projects, and help ensure maintenance standards are consistently achieved throughout the portfolio.

On-Call:

Required as needed to support property operations and maintenance emergencies

• Conduct routine property visits to evaluate maintenance operations, identify opportunities for improvement, ensure quality standards are met, and support on‑site teams through coaching and technical guidance
• Perform and assist with preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance across multiple communities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, painting, and general building systems
• Monitor preventative maintenance programs, life safety compliance, and required maintenance documentation, including EPA records, MSDS, pool logs, preventative maintenance logs, utility inspections, and other regulatory requirements
• Support apartment turnover operations by assisting with make‑ready planning, troubleshooting delays, and helping maintenance teams maintain unit readiness and operational efficiency
• Assist with maintenance budgeting, inventory management, purchasing, vendor coordination, and cost‑control initiatives while supporting capital improvement and special projects as assigned
• Lead, coach, train, and mentor on‑site maintenance associates while partnering with Property Managers and Regional Managers on hiring, performance management, workforce planning, and technical development
• Promote a safety‑first culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and proper handling of chemicals, equipment, tools, and regulated materials while proactively identifying and correcting safety concerns
