Chandler Hall, a non‑profit, Quaker facility, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County, and offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including Community Living, Personal Care, Residential Hospice, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Maintenance Department. This is a hands‑on working supervisor role, which includes project management, assigning work orders to maintenance staff, completing work orders, ensuring timely completion of projects including room readiness, physical plant appearance, fire safety training, and optimal customer service. In this position, the Maintenance Supervisor will also complete smaller in‑house projects that have a direct aesthetic impact on the Chandler Hall community.

These duties include but not limited to resident room upgrades and finishes, installation of floating laminate floors, common space renovations, preparing and finish painting of areas throughout the community, ceiling and wall repairs and painting. This position has on call responsibilities and assumes responsibilities of the department in the absence of the Director of Facilities.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a long term care community
• 5 years of construction and building maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Seeks additional knowledge if unsure about a particular situation.
