Pay: $21/hr | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM

BG Staffing is seeking a dependable Assistant Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Pittsburgh, PA (15232). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality repairs, and is ready to grow within a strong maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing work orders and general maintenance repairs
• Support unit turns and make-ready tasks
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Help maintain grounds, common areas, and community equipment
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Provide friendly, professional service to residents and staff

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance required
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
