Operations Crew Member
Citizens Live at The Wylie is seeking Operations Crew Members to support venue setup, show-day logistics, and post-event breakdown. This role is essential to ensuring the venue is safe, functional, and ready to deliver an exceptional guest and artist experience.
* Residents of the Greater Hill District and surrounding neighborhoods are encouraged to apply. We will host a hiring event for residents closer to the grand opening. Details will be announced as they become available.
What This Role Will Do
- Execute venue setup and breakdown, including barricade, bike rack, tables, signage, and equipment placement.
- Support backstage operational needs as directed.
- Assist with seating layouts and premium area configurations.
- Load, move, and store venue equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor venue conditions throughout the event and respond to operational needs.
- Support weather response protocols and safety procedures.
- Assist with post-show reset to prepare for the next event.
- Maintain equipment organization and storage areas.
- Follow all safety guidelines and communicate operational issues promptly.
- Assist with venue maintenance and repair tasks (ie. Painting, patching, replacing lights, etc) as needed.
- Support and collaborate with other departments to ensure all guest, crew, and artist needs are met.
- Interact positively with guests and be willing to assist with customer service needs as necessary.
What This Person Will Bring
- Experience in event operations, stagehand work, or general labor preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to take direction.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Clear communication skills and team-first mentality.
- Flexible availability inclusive of nights and weekends.
