Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment, facilities, and supporting systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, completing preventive maintenance activities, and assisting with facility and improvement projects. The Maintenance Mechanic will work independently and collaboratively to identify issues, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization.

- Troubleshoot and repair three-phase electrical systems and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures involving conveyors, motors, bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, couplings, seals, piping, and related equipment.
- Perform welding and fabrication work to support repairs, modifications, and improvement projects.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and perform corrective repairs.
- Assist with facility maintenance including building systems, groundskeeping, and infrastructure repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory transactions.
- Source replacement parts, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on maintenance and repair activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
- Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanical repair and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Preventive maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DEP, and general workplace safety practices.
- Computer skills including inventory tracking and maintenance recordkeeping.
- Experience sourcing materials and replacement parts.
- Injection molding maintenance experience.
- Groundskeeping and facility maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors.
This is a full‑time position Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Scheduled hours and overtime requirements may vary based on production schedules, maintenance demands, emergency repairs, and project requirements. Occasional off‑shift and weekend work may be required.
Additional Information- A pre‑employment physical and drug test are required.
