The Maintenance Manager assists maintenance leadership in planning, managing, directing and controlling all aspects of maintenance and construction. This position is also responsible for managing expenses, labor and budgets, purchasing, and receiving for the maintenance department.

Roles & Responsibilities :Supervisory Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the Maintenance team and any other assigned departments
- Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team members
- Manage and control all financial aspects of assigned departments while maximizing revenue and cost savings opportunities maintain constant vigilance over departmental spending and budgets
- Act as a strategic visionary to implement measures that will favorably impact process, people, and/or profit
- Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe and productive environment for colleagues and guests.
- Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all maintenance positions and backfill these positions when needed
- Participate in all aspects of supervision of assigned employees, including hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline.
- Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with PA law
- Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities
- Acts as trusted business partner and maintenance expert for park leadership, making improvement recommendations and highlighting concerns, as needed
- Maintain facility in compliance with OSHA, state regulatory agencies, and all other pertinent and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Oversee all major new construction projects using working knowledge of state and local guidelines/restrictions
- Directs and coordinates activities of maintenance team members engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment of building, and grounds.
- Reviews job ordered to determine work priorities.
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
- Coordinate vendor contacts, solicit bids, and order maintenance-related goods and supplies.
- Conduct daily and frequent site inspections to ensure that the maintenance department meets the highest possible standards of safety, courtesy, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of the physical property to ensure safe operations and minimal downtime and good appearance at the lowest possible cost.
- Coordinate new projects and acts as project manager, when needed.
- Participate in the Maintenance and Park Duty Manager rotation for the park during the operating season, if needed
- All other duties as assigned by leadership
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred Equivalent work experience will also be considered
- 3–5 years of previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, managing building maintenance, guest facilities, and capital improvement projects. 2+ year of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a maintenance capacity
