Retail Morning Cleaning Associate

Home Goods, a leader in the manufacturing retail space, seeks a Retail Morning Cleaning Associate to ensure our store is spotless and customer-ready by opening time. In this role, you will clean sales floors, restrooms, break rooms, and back-of-house areas, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. You will empty trash, maintain janitorial supplies, and report any safety hazards. Responsibilities

• Perform morning cleaning of sales floor, restrooms, break areas, and stock rooms before store opening
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas following company standards and safety guidelines
• Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, and maintain cleanliness around compactors and backroom areas
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces, fixtures, and restrooms using proper cleaning chemicals and PPEInspect store for hazards or spills and promptly address or report them to management
• Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain organization of janitorial closet and equipment
• Follow lock/key, alarm, and opening procedures as directed by store leadership
• Collaborate with store team to support a safe, organized, customer-ready environment
