What You’ll Do

As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout our skilled nursing facility by:

  • Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors and surfaces
  • Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways, windows, mirrors, drinking fountains, and handrails
  • Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners
  • Operating housekeeping equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintaining housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply rooms in a clean and organized manner
  • Following infection control procedures and facility safety policies
  • Properly storing cleaning chemicals and using caution signage when appropriate
  • Reporting resident safety concerns promptly to leadership
  • Monitoring housekeeping supplies and notifying the Director of Housekeeping when inventory needs replenishment
  • Providing friendly, professional customer service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
  • Working independently and collaboratively to maintain high cleanliness standards
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, hotel, or long-term care is a plus—but we're willing to train motivated candidates
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Repetitive cleaning activities throughout the shift
  • Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools
