Maintenance Technician – Plainfield, IN

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $29.75 per hour.

Shifts:

7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

• High school diploma or GED
• Min 1 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skilled with schematics and sensors
• Handy with power tools
• Big on safety
• Have a good working knowledge of safety circuits, relays, interlocks and E‑stop circuits
• Be able to participate in a team environment with focus on developing individual skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills that allow easy communication with peers and various levels of supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, metric-driven environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills required. Warehousing, distribution center or fulfillment experience preferred
• Varied industrial or distribution background is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and AutoCAD

You’ll inspect, repair, and fine‑tune production machines to reduce downtime. You’ll read blueprints, troubleshoot problems fast, and follow a steady maintenance schedule. The goal is simple – keep everything working smooth and safe.
