Job Description- Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general facility maintenance and assisting other facility maintenance staff members with all maintenance activities as directed.
- The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive.
- The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.
- Performs general facility maintenance and repairs and housekeeping, office services and office moves as directed.
- Provides assistance to all other maintenance staff members and works as part of team while performing duties.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
- May be required to work on off shift and/or weekends.
- Must be available for call in activity.
- Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP’s.
- Required to maintain current status in C2C training modules.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
- Job requires a high degree of reliability.
- Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
- Must have a broad knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
- The position will almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions.
- Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
- High school education or GED required.
- One (1) or more years of experience in facility maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate MHE.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.

- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts including time frames, materials, square ft. and linear ft. and percentages.
- Must possess the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Must possess excellent problem solving skills in relation to modification, construction and repairs of facility and facility equipment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form.
- Associates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety rules.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment.
- All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately.
- Report any suspicious persons or activities.
- Maintain a clean and professional image.
- To ensure the cleanliness of the facility, follow guidelines as outlined.
- The associate must maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.
- This associate may be provided with Hazmat training to include general awareness, function specific, security awareness, security plan and safety training.
- The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

- The associate may occasionally be required to climb.
- The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all.
- Employee must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- This position requires a pre-employment physical exam.
