We are looking for a talented Mechanical Maintenance person to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on and make needed repairs to all company equipment, machines, and systems. Be able to work within a team structured environment and still perform solo as needed with minimal direct supervision. Perform various maintenance responsibilities, with the ability to stop and start multiple tasks when necessary to assure priorities get immediate response. Exercise judgment and initiative in planning ahead, anticipating problems and completing job assignments.

Maintain an open and honest relationship with team members and management. Support the efforts of the team and ultimately the business. Manage own time for task completion. Be in work area on time and exemplify good work habits and commitment to all jobs well done.
