Back Half Night Janitorial Supervisor

ABM Industries is seeking a Back Half Night Janitorial Supervisor to lead evening cleaning operations in commercial and institutional facilities. This role oversees a frontline team to ensure safe, clean, and efficient environments that reflect ABM's commitment to service and inclusion. Responsibilities include assigning work, inspecting results, training staff, and enforcing safety procedures. The supervisor coordinates supplies, responds to client needs, documents incidents, and supports continuous improvement, while fostering teamwork, respect, and opportunities for growth on the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back half night janitorial staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety across client facilities
• Assign nightly work orders, inspect completed tasks, and address deficiencies promptly
• Train, coach, and mentor team members on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols
• Monitor supply levels, request replenishments, and ensure proper use and storage of chemicals and equipment
• Respond to client requests or issues during the night shift and communicate updates to management
• Enforce ABM safety policies, conduct briefings, and promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and teamwork
• Complete shift reports, timekeeping, and incident documentation accurately and on time
• Support onboarding of new employees and help identify team members for advancement opportunities
