Make Technician

Newbury Residential Inc. seeks a Make Ready Technician to ensure apartments are move in ready across our Greater Boston portfolio. In this hands on role, you'll inspect vacant units, complete punch lists, and perform light repairs including painting, patching, hardware replacement, and minor plumbing or electrical fixes. You'll coordinate with vendors as needed, uphold strict cleanliness and safety standards, meet tight turn deadlines, and support common area upkeep while working closely with a small, entrepreneurial property team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant units and create make-ready punch lists
• Complete basic repairs including painting, patching, and fixture replacement
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance work
• Ensure units meet quality, safety, and cleanliness standards before move-in
• Report property conditions and maintenance needs to supervisor
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in good order
• Respond to time-sensitive turn deadlines and unit readiness schedules
• Assist with common area upkeep and minor building repairs
