DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center seeks a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team supporting our high-volume wholesale logistics operation. In this on-site role, you will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for conveyors, material-handling, and facility systems to maximize uptime and safety. You'll manage work orders, prioritize repairs with operations leaders, and enforce OSHA and company safety standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and schedule 2nd shift maintenance technicians in a high-volume distribution center
- Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, material-handling, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Monitor work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance records using CMMS or similar systems
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, conducting inspections and safety training
- Coordinate with operations and logistics leaders to prioritize repairs around production needs
- Support contractors and vendors during major repairs or equipment installations
- Train and mentor technicians, providing feedback on performance and development
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability and throughput
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support a team-focused, inclusive culture
