Helper​/Packer​/Mover

Overview

Coleman Worldwide Moving is seeking loaders, packers, movers, and warehouse personnel for its service centers. This is an ideal summer job for college students and for individuals looking for a long‑lasting career. Compensation ranges from $14 to $15 per hour, depending on experience.

• Wrap household goods for transit
• Perform packing jobs as necessary
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle
• Assist in loading trucks and/or containers for interstate commerce
• Conduct pre‑trip inspections with drivers, covering all equipment aspects (truck interior, straps, tensioners, walk‑boards, etc.)
• Complete household goods inventory
• Perform work at the warehouse as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate and interstate
• Good communication skills

High school diploma or GED is required. Real , complaint  driver’s license is preferred.

• Both indoor and outdoor work environments
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds
• Frequent squatting, bending, and use of stairs

The company offers a scholarship program for qualifying summer interns:

• $500 scholarship toward post‑secondary education for the first full summer internship
• $750 scholarship for the second full summer internship
• $1,000 scholarship for the third or more full summer internships

Eligibility requires being a summer seasonal associate in a helper, packer, driver, warehouseman or similar operational position and demonstrating enrollment in school for fall classes. Full time through the scheduled season is required, with accommodations for school dates. Supervisor acknowledgment of good performance and attendance is also required.
