Job Title:
Maintenance Assistant, Multifamily – The Flats on San Felipe
- Prepare Market‑Ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and other tasks necessary to provide residents with a quality move‑in experience.
- Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe.
- Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Carried out maintenance tasks scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Comply with state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
- Participate in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield.
- Perform duties as assigned in a timely manner.
- Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Adhere to Cushman & Wakefield appearance standards.
- Maintain and safeguard all company tools and equipment.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Ability to read policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Use common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Problem‑solving in routine situations with known variables.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Perform basic arithmetic (rate, ratio, percent, bar graphs).
- Perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school.
- Related experience and certification in EPA 608 (Minimum Type II), or CPO, or local city required certificate.
Work may require standing and walking for extended periods, ascending and descending staircases, ladders, and step stools, and traveling between properties in varying weather. Up to 50 pounds may need to be lifted, carried, pushed, pulled, or moved at times.
