Make​/Groundskeeper

Position: Community Make Ready/Groundskeeper

Location: Bentley Place Apartments Plano, Texas

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour (based on experience) plus monthly bonuses

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a full-time Make Ready/Groundskeeper to join our team at one of our Plano, Texas communities. This role is essential to maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our property, ensuring it remains inviting for residents and guests.

• Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal
• Pick up and dispose of trash from common areas and office spaces
• Operate various cleaning and maintenance equipment, including pressure washers
• Report any property damage or maintenance issues promptly
• Store maintenance materials properly and maintain supply areas
• Make ready vacant units
• Provide courteous service to residents and guests
• Support nearby sister properties as needed
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work comfortably on ladders or stairs
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

• Minimum of 1 year of make ready/groundskeeping or related experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong attention to detail and passion for maintaining outdoor spaces
• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks
• Positive attitude with strong communication and organizational skills
• Spanish and some English
