About the RoleAs a Maintenance Supervisor at Opal Legacy Central you’ll lead a team to keep our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. The role blends hands‑on maintenance expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation. The position is eligible for a 100% apartment allowance if living on‑site.
What You’ll Do- Property Maintenance
- Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
- Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
- Respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed.
- Operations
- Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
- Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
- Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.

What We’re Looking For- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC‑EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
- Three or more years of hands‑on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
- A valid driver’s license may be required.
Estimated Rate of Pay: $33.48 - $37.44 per hour (non‑exempt)100% apartment allowance if living on‑site.
Sign‑on bonus (less usual deductions) will be paid following completion of 90 days of employment (current Fairfield associates are not eligible).
