Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)
Pay rate range: $20 – $22.50/hr on W2

7:00AM – 4:30 PM M-Th & 7:00AM-3:30PM for on Friday
Job Description:
We are seeking a facilities Technician to perform general maintenance and repair of the facility's buildings, equipment, and grounds. The role involves preventive maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and supporting facility operations. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while following instructions from the Facility Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repair of building structures and grounds.
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
Use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely.
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Report maintenance issues and escalate when necessary.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Work collaboratively with the facilities team.
Required Skills:
1–3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
General maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Experience using hand tools.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (occasional two-person lifts).
Ability to read and understand English work instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Preferred Skills:
HVAC experience.
Trade school training or vocational certification.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Trade School Certification (Preferred)
