Housekeeping - Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our hospital team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the hospital to ensure the comfort and safety of patients, visitors, and staff.

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other hospital facilities according to established protocols.
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in designated areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a sterile environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient privacy and comfort during cleaning activities.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
