Help lead the team that keeps Plano moving! The City of Plano is seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused Public Works Crew Leader to join our Streets team. In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll lead and work alongside maintenance staff responsible for keeping the City’s streets and infrastructure safe, functional, and well maintained. From pavement, sidewalk, alley, drainage, signage, and right‑of‑way repairs to pothole maintenance, tree trimming, debris removal, and emergency response, you’ll help coordinate daily work while operating a variety of heavy equipment and ensuring each job is completed safely and efficiently.
You’ll also investigate service requests, communicate with residents, maintain work orders, and help train and develop Equipment Operators and Maintenance Workers. If you enjoy leading from the front, solving problems in the field, working outdoors, and taking pride in seeing the results of your team’s work throughout the community, bring your experience to the City of Plano and help us keep our streets moving safely every day!
