The Custodian, 4 Hour, will perform daily cleaning, minor maintenance, yard duties, and assigned tasks in order to provide a clean and healthy learning environment in all school district facilities.
Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, dusting surfaces, disposing of waste, maintaining custodial closets, performing minor maintenance tasks, following a lawn and facility maintenance program, opening and securing the facility, working independently or as part of a crew, and assuming modified duties of the Head Custodian or Custodial Crew Leader in the event of absence or vacancy.
Other requirements include basic comprehensive skills of the working English language, mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and computer skills. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 55 pounds, and working in various environmental conditions.
