Utah County Swing Shift Lube Technician

Job Location: Pleasant Grove, UT

The primary purpose of this job is to perform service and maintenance on all fleet trucks.

Must have full use of body and senses to use heavy materials, and repair heavy equipment. Good eyesight and depth perception are necessary for most jobs. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. All day will be spent standing with frequent squatting, bending, reaching and twisting. Bending and flexing of the arms, wrists, and hands is very frequent throughout the day.

Senses of sight, hearing, smell and speech are required. Ability to climb and balance is necessary.

• Starting wage is between $24/hour depending on experience.
• $2.00 per hour shift differential pay in addition to the hourly wage listed above.
• Monday through Friday 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm with overtime.
• Annual tool reimbursement after one year of service, twice a year.
• Advanced tools and technology.
• In-house and OEM certified training.

• Must have a high school degree.
• Clean driving record and must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately write and document detailed work/repair orders.
• Experience with mechanics, metal fabrication, painting, tire repair, and welding is helpful.
• One year of experience in service is a plus.

Clear communication and legible handwriting are necessary for daily operations. Must be able to comprehend English well enough to understand orders from a supervisor, communicate them to others, and write new work orders.

Knowledge of basic math, weight measurements, and basic physics is required.

Knowledge of electrical wiring and repair is also helpful.
