Responsible for performing general building maintenance and repair activities at Uline’s Corporate Office and other locations as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on drywall, painting, doors, locks, and restrooms.
• Install, reconfigure, and repair modular workstations and office setups.
• Support corporate event setup and teardown.
• Install interior artwork throughout corporate facilities.
• Complete facilities-related tasks at corporate offices, branch locations, and off-site facilities.
• Provide assistance and back-up support to other departments within the Facilities team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonably related to the responsibilities listed above.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED – Required

Certifications/Licenses

• Valid driver’s license – Preferred

Experience

3–5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Commercial office furniture installation (modular and/or case goods)
• Plumbing
• Painting
• Rough or finish carpentry
• Event setup and support

Skills and Competencies

• Floor and tile installation
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Understanding of OSHA-required PPE and blood borne pathogens
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Reliable and consistent attendance

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Lifting Requirements

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs occasionally (30–60%).

Vision Requirements

• Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.
• Typically moderate noise levels in office areas.
• Higher noise levels may occur in warehouse or event spaces.

Physical Activities

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Use of hands and fingers to handle tools and materials
• Ability to talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms
• Occasional driving of company vehicles
• May work near warehouse equipment and machinery
