About the Role

As a CBRE Technical Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the efficient planning of maintenance work orders at a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Your goal will be to maximize technician wrench‑time while minimizing client business interruptions. Work order planning will include safety and environment requirements, materials and kitting, specialty tools, job plans or tasks, and required labor and resources.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and plan work to be performed, consulting with clients, leads, supervisors, production supervisors, other planners, and schedulers as necessary.
  • Scope and organize all information, parts, tools, job plans, drawings, and special procedures required for the craftsperson.
  • Approach all aspects of the work with safety as the highest priority.
  • Determine labor and skills required for self‑perform and identify when subcontractors are needed.
  • Maintain accurate KPI metrics on planning performance and provide timely reports to the Site Manager.
  • Continuously improve job packages by receiving feedback from technicians, supervisors, engineers, and client staff.
  • Manage annual purchase orders and daily invoices.
  • Use your experience to determine time estimates for reactive or corrective work orders.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with at least three years of planning and scheduling experience in a CMMS platform (Maximo preferred).
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic equipment parts and manufacturing equipment.
  • Demonstrated competence with computers; experience with MS Office is necessary.
  • Knowledge and experience with HSE and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional communication with vendors regarding purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, run rates, averages, and projected rates.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.
  • Strive for continuous improvement of processes, procedures, job plans, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to read standard blueprints, machine, and P& and sketch or redline existing drawings.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently (self‑driven).
  • Organizational skills highly desired.
