EVS Porter
An EVS porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderly appearance of a facility. Key duties include cleaning common areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms), removing trash and regulated medical waste, performing light grounds maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness in non-patient care areas.

What you will do:
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning windows or glass surfaces in public and non-patient care areas. - Floor Care:
Scrub and buff hard flooring, shampoo and extract carpet. - Trash Removal:
Daily disposal of waste from soiled utilities, common areas, offices, and perimeter grounds. - Restroom Upkeep:
Ensuring restrooms are sanitized, clean, and fully stocked with supplies. - Exterior Maintenance:
Cleaning parking lots, walkways, and maintaining the "curb appeal" of the property. - Safety Monitoring:
Reporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management. - Employees must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. Education

- Communicates and coordinates with clinical and non-clinical staff
- Communicates and coordinates with service line leads
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Must have excellent organization skills.
- Detail oriented
- Ability to anticipate and change with the environment as needed
- Ability to maintain the physical demands of the job, push/pull heavy equipment - 50lbs
- Knowledge of safety, quality and joint commission standards as it relates to the department.

Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $25.76 - $34.00 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
