Overview
Dot’s Pretzels – team located in Plymouth, IN – looking for a cleaning and sanitation employee.

- 12‑hour shifts (6 pm‑6 am)
- Plant operates on various schedules: 2‑2‑3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off); rotation working 3‑4 days/week.
Communication will be through phone, email, and text. Qualified applicants will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interview. Post‑offer background check and drug screen required.
SummaryResponsible for cleaning and sanitizing common areas of the plant or the processing room by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and emptying trash. Perform inventory and stocking of supply rooms, fill proportions with cleaning chemicals, operate hand jacks, manlifts, boom, floor scrubber, Kai Vac, and other cleaning equipment as required. Conduct periodic deep cleaning of facilities per 3rd‑party audit requirements and Sanitation Manager instructions.
Document all cleaning activities. Clean all computer stations, control panels, extruder motors/gearboxes, electrical cabinets (exterior), electrical lines, containers/carts, ladders, fan filters/vents, walls/floor mats, sink area/wash pit, mixer platforms, die storage room, pump station, and scales in the processing area.
- At least 18 years old at time of hire.
- High School diploma or GED.
- One‑month related experience or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers and decimals.
Must be in good physical condition to perform tasks. Must stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands/arms, and talk/hear. Frequently required to stand and walk and lift/move up to 25 lbs. Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs and pass annual lift test. Recommended safety equipment: eye safety glasses, side shields, hearing protection, hair/beard nets.
