Senior Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

Mac Lean-Fogg is hiring a Senior Maintenance Manager in Plymouth, MI to lead equipment reliability, maintenance operations, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts. You will guide maintenance professionals, improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

• Location: Plymouth, MI

• Work Arrangement: On-site

• Schedule: 1st Shift

• Pay: $125,000-$145,000 per year

• Other Compensation: 10% AICP

• Employment Type: Full-time / Salary

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability strategies.

• Oversee corrective and preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

• Plan and schedule maintenance employees, materials, and activities to complete work with minimal downtime while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement standard procedures for monitoring equipment performance, safety, and effectiveness.

• Analyze equipment performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and support manufacturing goals.

• Manage personnel decisions related to hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions while promoting a safety-first culture and compliance with applicable requirements.

• Perform regular facility inspections, lead process‑improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve maintenance workflows, and plan repair work using blueprints and manuals as needed.

• High school education.

• 7+ years of experience in maintenance supervision or a related field.

• Proven experience implementing or managing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.

• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, failure analysis, mechanical maintenance, equipment monitoring, process documentation, and time management.

• Leadership, problem‑solving, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to support teamwork and collaboration.

• Ability to follow safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

This role involves working in a manufacturing environment where noise may be present. The position requires extended periods of standing, frequent bending and stooping, and the dexterity needed to handle small objects.
