Facilities Technician II

Our client is seeking a Facilities Technician II to join their team. As a Facilities Technician II, you will be part of the Facilities & Utilities Department supporting maintenance and operational excellence

Job Title:Facilities Technician II
Location: Plymouth, MN/ 100% Onsite
6 Months Contract

• Operate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, vacuum systems, compressed air, emergency generators, power distribution, and city/well water.
• Contact suppliers and vendors to maintain a full stock of spare parts for facilities and utilities equipment.
• Establish and execute proper maintenance procedures and schedules based on manufacturer recommendations, equipment manuals, and reliability data.
• Provide regular maintenance reports and operational updates to peers, management, and internal/external customers.
• Coordinate assigned work with contractors and vendors related to facilities and utilities operations.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree in a facilities-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance experience is highly preferred.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMM systems) is advantageous.
• Boiler certification, Universal Refrigeration License, or proficiency in Excel spreadsheets are a plus.
• Must have experience and be a member of the Emergency Response Team.
