Maintenance Supervisor Job Overview

CompensationCompetitive salary based on experience- $90,000-$95,000.

Work Schedule- Full-time, onsite role based in Plymouth, MN
- Monday-Friday-7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Occasional local, regional, and national travel may be required

- Lead and supervise Maintenance Technicians and other assigned maintenance personnel
- Coordinate and direct day-to-day maintenance activities across the Plymouth plant
- Ensure planned maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Monitor department KPIs, maintenance metrics, and work order performance
- Drive equipment reliability and machine uptime through preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
- Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve production performance
- Develop, implement, and monitor OSHA/ANSI safety procedures and safe work practices
- Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance effectiveness
- Serve as a technical resource and leader for maintenance staff
- Manage multiple priorities while supporting operational goals
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, engineering, maintenance management, or related discipline and 2+ years of leadership experience;
OR - 8+ years of maintenance experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience and a proven record of progressive responsibility
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance systems
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic technologies utilized in manufacturing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize work across multiple departments and competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to move throughout manufacturing and production areas
- Frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
