The Fountain Group is currently seeking an R&D Technician for a prominent client of ours.
Plymouth, MN
Pay & Contract- Pay Range: $25 - $32/hr depending on experience
- Contract: 1 year (temp to hire)
- Hours: M-F 1st shift (start time can be between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM)
- Perform mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, and visual tests on medical devices
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation using good documentation practices
- Communicate clearly with engineers regarding test results and observations
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment
- Utilize lab tools and equipment including calipers, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, force gauges, Cognex, Lab View, and hand tools
- Maintain a work balance of approximately 85% lab time and 15% desk time (100% on-site)
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
