Maintenance Associate

Position Summary The Maintenance Associate supports daily operations by performing routine groundskeeping, building upkeep, and general facility maintenance. This role ensures the property remains clean, safe, and presentable for employees, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, raking, and debris removal.
• Perform routine building upkeep such as minor repairs, painting, patching, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Clean and maintain exterior areas: walkways, parking lots, entrances, and common outdoor spaces.
• Assist with interior facility cleaning including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restocking supplies.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for safety hazards, damage, or maintenance needs; report issues promptly.
• Support seasonal tasks such as storm prep, cleanup, landscaping changes, and special projects.
• Operate maintenance equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, pressure washers, hand tools).
• Maintain maintenance storage areas, tools, and equipment in clean, organized condition.
• Assist with vendor coordination, deliveries, and onsite maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or general maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical, outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, landscaping equipment, and minor building repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Work Environment

• Outdoor and indoor work across multiple areas of the property.
• Exposure to weather, noise, and physical activity.
• Requires bending, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
