Position: Housekeeper (Full-Time) - Independent Living

What You’ll DoClean and maintain resident apartments, cottages, and common areas to ensure a fresh, welcoming environment

Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks in alignment with department standards

Safely use and maintain cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment

Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents in our Independent Living community

Maintain organized work spaces and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and stored

Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs promptly

Handle linens, trash removal, and apartment turnovers with care and attention to detail

Promote resident well-being by following housekeeping and sanitation best practices

Deliver excellent service while respecting resident privacy, independence, and personal belongings

Support team initiatives, seasonal projects, and community-wide cleaning efforts as needed

Skills You Need Must Have Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities effectively

Dependable attendance and strong time management skills

Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines consistently

Professional communication and a customer-service mindset

Comfort working in a resident-focused, service-oriented environment

Respect for resident independence, privacy, and personal space

Nice to Have Skills Previous housekeeping, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare experience

Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies

Knowledge of safe chemical handling and sanitation practices

Familiarity with apartment or residential cleaning environments

Experience in environments focused on customer service or hospitality excellence

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
