Housekeeper
Join the Vicar's Landing Housekeeping team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members, guests, and employees. In this hands-on role, you will clean member residences and community spaces, care for furnishings and personal belongings, and follow established sanitation and safety procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and enjoys helping others.
• Clean and maintain member homes and community areas by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, polishing, removing trash and soiled linen, and making beds.
• Gather supplies and equipment promptly at the beginning of the shift and keep carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Clean and return equipment after use and report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, spills, and hazardous conditions promptly.
• Use required personal protective equipment, wet-floor signs, and safe work practices to protect members, coworkers, and guests.
• Treat members with dignity and respect while protecting their privacy, confidential information, and personal belongings.
Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assigned work efficiently.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
A respectful, service-focused approach when working in members' homes and shared community spaces.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of the Housekeeping team.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch; and occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Previous housekeeping, custodial, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience.
Experience using commercial cleaning or floor-care equipment.
Conversational skills in English
Hourly Rate: $16 – 17/hour starting rate
