Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the operations support team supporting building maintenance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Manage and oversee the maintenance team, including skilled trades, housekeeping staff, and subcontractors.

Investigate, plan, and implement projects assigned by the Site Manager, Maintenance Manager, or General Manager.

Perform safe operating tours to ensure proper building operation and address any issues promptly.

Supervise corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance of building equipment and systems.

Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems troubleshooting.

Excellent interpersonal and management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
