Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Custodian to our team at a large professional office facility near the South Boulevard corridor in Pontiac. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking pride in keeping high-traffic areas clean and well maintained.
This role is focused primarily on trash collection throughout the facility. We are looking for someone who can stay on task, work efficiently, and provide consistent quality throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Collect and remove trash and recycling from assigned areas
- Replace liners and keep trash receptacles clean and orderly
- Transport collected waste to designated disposal areas
- Monitor assigned areas and respond to additional trash removal needs
- Follow established safety and waste-handling procedures
Requirements
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned routes
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull trash bags and containers
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to follow facility safety and disposal procedures
Pay: $15 - $16 per hour
