Evening Utility Worker

ABM Industries is hiring Day and Evening Utility Workers to support safe, clean, and efficient facilities across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sites. In this role, you'll perform daily and project-based cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation, trash and recycling removal, light maintenance tasks, and event or room setups. You'll operate cleaning equipment safely, follow OSHA and company safety standards, and respond to client requests with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Collect, sort, and remove trash and recycling safely and efficiently
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, auto-scrubbers, and floor machines
• Assist with light building upkeep, such as spot cleaning, minor spills, and simple tasks
• Set up and break down rooms or common areas for events and meetings
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines
• Monitor and restock supplies including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damages promptly to supervisors
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned routes and project work on time
• Provide courteous, responsive service to clients, visitors, and building occupants
