I&E Technician

Responsibilities

• You will perform work safely following Linde’s policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems (600
  
  VAC and below) and automatic control valves
• Calibrate and maintain pneumatic, electronic, and process control instrumentation, including analytical equipment such as Thermal Conductivity and Gas Chromatograph analyzers
• Further, you will use control logic drawings to troubleshoot process control systems and document repairs in the CMMS system
• Schedule and execute maintenance for electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, motor control, and analytical systems
• Climb ladders, stairways, and operate man‑lifts for elevated maintenance while ensuring safety and instructing contract personnel on compliance

• You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Associate's degree in applied sciences or equivalent apprenticeship preferred
• Bring at least three years of experience in process control instrumentation
• Also, you demonstrate proficiency with a variety of instrumentation and electrical hand tools, meters, and calibration equipment
• Possess working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors
• You can read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams accurately
• Exhibit strong organizational and planning abilities to manage tasks effectively
• Apply strong computer skills to support technical and administrative duties
• Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
