Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139-bed community hospital that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient health care services to residents of St. Clair and Sanilac counties, including emergency services, primary stroke center, cancer care, surgical services, physical therapy and rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and specialized diabetes programs. Maintains accurate logs on all hospital equipment to ensure a safe working environment; maintains and repairs equipment—including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems; maintains the building and its related systems; certified and/or licensed in a specific trade directly related to healthcare engineering.
QualificationsEducation, experience, training:
- Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
- Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
