We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Day Shift team. As we launch new programs, while running our day‑to‑day operation, the ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Communication & Team Coordination:
  • Provide day‑to‑day direction, support, and technical guidance to maintenance technicians.
  • Assign and prioritize maintenance work orders based on production requirements and equipment criticality.
  • Coordinate shift activities to ensure timely completion of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Assign preventive maintenance (PM) work orders and generate PM schedules through SAP.
  • Support technician training, onboarding, and skills development.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Support rapid response activities to minimize production downtime.
  • Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure repairs are completed safely, effectively, and in accordance with maintenance standards.
  • Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and startup of manufacturing, automation, and facility equipment.
  • Install and support office hardware, including computers, monitors, printers, and related equipment (excluding software installation and programming).
  • Support installation and validation of new equipment and manufacturing systems
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
  • Coordinate execution of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all machine preventive maintenance activities are completed and documented accurately and on time within SAP.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
  • Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, work orders, downtime documentation, and action programs to include lessons learned and identified troubleshooting solutions.
Spare Parts & Inventory Management:
  • Administer and maintain the spare parts Kanban system to ensure critical parts availability.
  • Manage the storage, organization, inventory, accuracy, and replenishment of maintenance spare parts.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory levels and initiate reorder activities as required.
  • Maintain and update spare parts inventory records and control files to ensure accuracy and traceability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing to support maintenance inventory requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities.
  • Drive equipment uptime, OEE, and maintenance KPI improvements
  • Support lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives (actively participate in Change for Better meetings).
  • Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams on process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Safety & Compliance:
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental and quality standards.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL

SKILLS:
  • PLC Trouble Shooting (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
  • Electrical Systems up to 480V
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting & Repair
  • Preventative & Predictive Maintenance Practices
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation
  • SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PPT) – Preferred but not required
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL / PHYSICAL

SKILLS:
  • 5+ years experience in similar position in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating maintenance personnel preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and various temperatures.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends or off‑shift hours as needed.
