Maintenance Associate

Hourly pay: $16.00 – $24.00 per hour

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go.

Maintaining a positive attitude ensures customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies; rotate and store chemicals properly; place orders when supplies are low.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary.
