Wastewater Treatment​/Compost Crew Chief, Operator, or Maintenance Worker

JOBThe City of Port Townsend is recruiting for three vacancies in the Wastewater Treatment/Compost division of our Public Works Department, one at Crew Chief or Crew Chief Apprentice level, one at Operator I or II level, and one at Apprentice, Maintenance Worker, or Operator level. The city's 10,330 residents and over a million visitors a year enjoy its historic seaport character mixed with a vibrant creative culture.  Crew Chief Pay Range: $ base pay ($ total pay range with maximum potential longevity) Crew Chief Apprentice Pay Range: $ base pay ($ total pay range with maximum potential longevity) Operator II Pay Range: $ hourly base pay ($ total pay range including maximum potential longevity pay) Operator I Pay Range: $ hourly base pay ($ total pay range including maximum potential longevity pay) Maintenance Worker Pay Range: $ hourly base pay ($ total pay range including maximum potential longevity) Maintenance Worker Apprentice Pay Range: $ hourly base pay ($ total pay range including maximum potential longevity) This position may be eligible for the additional compensation listed below.

Longevity pay on a graduated schedule starting at 2% after 5 years, up to 12% after 25 years

Remote plant operations pay Emergency response pay Phone-watch pay Overtime pay or compensatory time Premium pay or compensatory time

Jury duty pay at regular rate during service
