The Wyndmoor of Portage, a fully licensed and Medicaid Waiver certified Independent and Assisted Living facility, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistance to join our team! As a Maintenance Assistance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. Your responsibilities will include performing maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing of common areas and resident rooms

  • Changing light bulbs and fixtures

  • Performing minor repairs and adjustments

  • Restocking supplies and linen

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues

• Develop and maintain a cleaning schedule and priority list

• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs

• Experience necessary

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
