Building Custodian II (2nd Shift) - Talbot Community School

Under the direction of the Head Custodian, the selected candidate will clean, empty trash, dust, mop, disinfect, wash, polish, wipe, paint, remove/shovel snow, receive/stock supplies, strip/wax floors, use lifting/moving equipment, operate machinery, make deliveries, replace light bulbs, work from ladders, report hazards, secure the building, and perform other custodial tasks as trained and assigned.

The selected candidate will have the knowledge, skill, and abilities highlighted in the job description, a high school diploma or GED, and will be required to perform manual labor including, but not limited to, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, climbing, and repetitive motion. Successful candidate will have to pass a post-offer physical.

• Schedule: Full year, full time (1.0 FTE), Monday–Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Assignment: Fill in
• Location: Talbot Community School
• Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 2:30–11:00 PM
• Contract: Part of BASE union  CBA)
• Wage range: TBD as contract is under negotiations (25-26 range was $19.53–$23.54)
• Benefits: Eligible for benefits as outlined
